A ticket ballot is intended to be the fairest way of giving everyone a chance to apply for tickets. A ballot is not conducted on a first come, first served basis and you can apply at any time during the ballot window. Entering a ballot is not a guarantee that you will receive tickets.
While each ballot is open, you can apply for tickets to any of the 286 sessions of sport during the Games, and the opening and closing ceremonies. There are limits to the number of tickets in each session that you can apply for.
Please note you must be at least 18 years of age to register a ticketing account. One ballot application per household. Eligibility criteria and Terms and Conditions will apply. Multiple applications from the same person or same postal address may not be accepted in line with our Terms and Conditions and Birmingham 2022 reserves the right to use their discretion if it appears that the rule is being misused. Individuals living in multi occupancy households may apply and should ensure they use a different name and payment card.
Please consider carefully which tickets you’d like to apply for, as you won’t be able to amend your application once it’s been submitted.
At the end of each ballot window, ballots will be run for each session, and tickets will be allocated to applicants at random.
Following the closing dates, the ballots will be run and successful applicants notified. Payments will be automatically taken within 72 hours of notification. Please ensure you have sufficient funds to cover the total cost of your ticket request and your payment card hasn't expired.
